Backdocket Is Now on the Microsoft Marketplace for Microsoft 365 Copilot

Your firm already lives in Microsoft 365. Now Copilot can answer questions about your cases.

The Backdocket connector for Microsoft 365 Copilot is live on the Microsoft Marketplace. Ask Copilot Chat or Researcher about your firm in plain language, and it answers from your live Backdocket data. No exports. No copy-paste. No new screen to learn.

Ask Copilot About Your Cases

One question gets you the answer that used to take a report, a filter, and a spreadsheet.

With the Backdocket connector, Copilot can:

  • Find claims and matters by client name, case number, status, or date
  • Summarize a case: client, injuries, treatment, team, and key dates
  • Look up contacts by name, email, or phone and see every case they touch
  • Review open tasks, deadlines, and calendar events
  • Run your firm’s saved Backdocket searches and summarize the results

Managing partners get the firm-wide view. Paralegals get the case details. Nobody waits on a report.

Secure by Design

  • Each user signs in with their own Backdocket account. No shared keys.
  • Copilot sees only what that user can already see in Backdocket, and only for their own firm.
  • Your Microsoft 365 admin approves the connector before anyone in your organization can use it.
  • Read-only. Copilot looks up your data. It does not create or change records.

Use the AI You Already Pay For

Most legal AI products resell the same models with a markup, then ask you to copy your case data into their system. You pay twice and maintain your data twice.

Backdocket skips the middleman. If your firm pays for Copilot, Copilot works on your cases. Backdocket adds no AI charge.

Copilot joins Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Zoom AI Companion as ways to put the AI your team already uses to work on Backdocket. See First-Class AI for the full picture.
